BirdCage Veil

Vintage style Birdcage Veils have been a very popular trend this season and are a beautiful accessory for the stylish bride. Influenced by fashion designers and Hollywood stars the vintage style is definitely a big trend in bridal fashion. Reese Witherspoon wore a birdcage veil in the film "Sweet Home Alabama" and Drew Barrymore was photographed on the red carpet for the premiere of the film "Grey Gardens" in a Birdcage Veil.

The Birdcage Veil can be easily worn with any hair style, long or short, and suits any age group or style of wedding gown. All of our Birdcage Veils are handcrafted for each individual order. The netting can be attached to one hair comb and worn centrally on the head, or to the side of the head, which will cause the veil to be worn at a slant across the face. The further forward the comb is worn on the head the more the net will cover the face. Please see our Blusher Birdcage Veil as an example of this.

Another Birdcage Veil style that we have created is the Bandeau Style Birdcage Veil. This is made with a narrower style netting that is attached to two small combs. The net is worn across the face like a visor and attached with the combs either side of the head. Our Bandeau birdcage veil and Beau Birdcage Veils are good examples of this style.

Any of the Birdcage Veils can be adapted to whatever length of net or colour of crystals or pearls. Diamante embellishments can be added to the netting to add a hint of sparkle to your Birdcage Veil. Whatever style you choose you are sure to look elegant and glamorous on your Wedding Day!
