Yes! It's that time of year again! We are preparing for the Stirling Wedding Show. The show will be held at the Albert Halls in Stirling on 27th March 2011. 12pm-4pm. We look forward to seeing all you lovely brides to be at the Show. Please remember to bring cash or cheque books with you if you wish to purchase on the day or pay a deposit for an order. There will be a few one off pieces that have been specially created for the show and there will be lots of special offers on all the products for the day only. If you are looking to buy bridesmaids' jewellery and hair accessories we are doing an offer of a reduced price for buying more than one item. Also, please remember to bring your swatches of material with you to match up colours.

The Stirling Wedding Show was again a big success! Well done to Alastair and Marie Kerr from Kingdom Photos for all their hard work organising the show. There were record numbers of people coming through the door and this created a great atmosphere and exciting buzz in the Albert Halls. It was really lovely to meet all the brides-to-be and hear about their wedding plans. It is an ideal way for me to get to know what styles and designs the brides are looking for and get feed-back on the designs that I have produced. Thank you to everyone that came to visit the Your Tiaras stand and your kind comments and compliments about the designs I produce. I look forward to hearing from you all in the future and working on the designs for your weddings!

For all you lovely brides that are hoping to come to the Stirling Wedding Show this Sunday we are offering a 10% discount. All you need to do is place an order on the day and quote SWS10. We will have some new designs to exhibit and will be happy to give any advice you need about hairstyles and accessories. We always have a chart with the full range of Swarovski crystal colours, so don't forget to bring swatches of material if you wish to match up your bridesmaids colours. I will not be bringing the full stock from the Your Tiaras range, so if there is something specific you would like to see or try on please email or phone before Sunday so that I can be sure to take it along to the Show for you. Looking through wedding magazines it seems that "Vintage" is still a very big trend, especially as a theme in weddings. Many brides are wanting that vintage style in their jewellery and hair accessories, so I thought that I would try and make up some designs with that vintage look and feel. Once a month we have a local Antique Fair and I decided to give it a visit to try and get some inspiration. It was a treasure trove of delights and I bought some really beautiful pieces - two brooches and two necklaces. One of them I have turned into a tiara and the other two are going to be headbands with a side detail. The diamante in them is really gorgeous and will look very twinkly when they catch the light. I just hope that there will be some brides out there that will like them as much as I do! I think I will take them along to the Stirling Wedding Show to get some feed-back.

I have been thinking that this is a nice way to bring in the "something old" to the wedding and a bit of family nostalgia. Maybe Granny or a Great Aunt has left you a brooch or necklace and you would like to use that in some way on your wedding day. Why not have it transformed into something else that you could wear - a headband or a tiara?

Yes, it is that time of year again! We are pleased to say that we will be exhibiting at the Stirling Wedding Show on Sunday 19th September. Doors open at 12pm and there will be a fabulous catwalk show at 2.30pm. The Stirling branch of the Alison Kirk Bridal Salon will be at the show and they are proud to give brides the premiere viewing of the  Justin Alexander 2011 Bridal Collection. Justin Alexander gowns are modern interpretations of classic designs and shapes that are versatile for all  figures.

Whatever gown you choose for your big day we are sure that our beautiful accessories will compliment your style. We are happy to tailor any of our designs to your needs and colour schemes, so please feel free to bring along swatches of material or pictures of your bridal gowns/bridesmaids' dressses to co-ordinate colours.
